Aseptic production
In 2007, Britvic invested approx. £12m in installing an aseptic filling line at our Rugby factory.
Although more complex than the conventional filling process, it enables us to meet consumer demand for preservative-free products that do not require refrigeration.
It also enables us to produce complex products such as Gatorade and V Water without the need for in-bottle pasteurisation, which would destroy their delicate balance of minerals, electrolytes and salts.
