iebe Business

As part of our ongoing community investment, Britvic is hosting a series of professional development days for teachers in our factories in London (Beckton), Leeds and Norwich.

Based on the British Soft Drinks Association (BSDA)'s enterprise teaching resource, Liquids Means Life Enterprise Challenge, the events will be of interest to Key Stage 3/4 teachers involved with Food Technology, Business Studies, Enterprise, and Work Related Learning. Teaching Assistants and Trainee Teachers are also welcome on our course.

Delegates attending the event will have a chance to:

  • Tour the factory and see some of the nation's favourite soft drinks in production
  • Experience the Liquids Means Life Enterprise Challenge and receive a copy of the resource pack to take away
  • Meet representatives from the soft drinks industry to discuss opportunities for teachers and pupils in their local areas.

The PDP programme was awarded the IEBE Award for Enterprise and Innovation reflecting the excellent feedback received from the 70+ teachers who attended events in Beckton in 2010.

If you would like to attend please email cr@britvic.co.uk or kim@magentaonline.co.uk to request an application form. Places are limited and will be allocated on a 'first-come-first-served' basis.

We look forward to welcoming you to a BSDA/Britvic PDP day.
